How does it work? 

First, pick your Motorcycle Base

Ranging from universal to custom, RAM^® offers a wide variety of bases to choose from depending on the style of your bike and the desired mounting location. Each base connects to the patented Double Ball and Socket design that allows you to complete your mounting solution. No matter what ride you have, RAM will have a mount for it.

Handlebar U-Bolt Base

Our most popular mounting component for motorcycles, the U-Bolt base can attach to any handlebar with a diameter range from .5” to 1.25” using two different sizes of U-bolts and an optional composite U-Bolt spacer to protect your handlebar surface. Nylock nuts are provided to tighten onto the threads of the U-Bolt without risk of coming loose and the included rubber caps are used to cover the rough edges of the U-Bolt threads.

Brake/Clutch Reservoir Base

The RAM^® Brake/Clutch Reservoir Base replaces the two bolts on either the brake or clutch side and connects with three sets of included bolts, spacers and lock washers. Ideal for motorcycles without much handlebar space, you can conveniently mount your phone, GPS or camera in your peripheral vision.

 

Fork Stem Base

Mount directly to the cylindrical bore wall of your center fork stem hole with the RAM^®Fork Stem Mounting Base. With a clean and low profile look, this base will look like it was meant for your bike. Compatible with Fork Stem hole diameters in the following intervals: Metric 12 - 33mm; Standard .5" - 1.29".

 

Handlebar Clamp Base

The RAM^® Handlebar Clamp Base Base is the cleanest way to mount a device to your motorcycle. This base comes with three different lengths of M8 x 1.25 bolts that replace one of the factory M8 bolts on your bike that clamp onto the center of your handlebar display. Simply remove the factory bolt and replace with the RAM Ball with the provided M8 bolt and you're good to go.

 

Torque^™ Base

The RAM Torque^™ base series fits a variety of rails and bar sizes for secure placement of your device. Sizing inserts create a tight hold while protecting the bar. Mount your GPS unit, camera, phone or table to handlebars, roll cages or even mirror posts. The possibilities are endless!

 

Tough-Claw^™

The RAM^® Tough-Claw^™ is the perfect mounting base for quick and easy tool-less installation and removal on round, square, odd shaped rails and bars. Ideal for mounting action cameras, smartphones and much more in a wide variety of applications. Perfectly suited for mounting on the handlebars, crash bars, pegs, luggage rack or any open space on your bike, the Tough-Claw^™ will soon become another essential RAM^® component in your collection of mounting options.

 

Reservoir Cover Base

The RAM^® Brake/Clutch Reservoir Cover Base fits cleanly over your existing reservoir cover with the necessary provided hardware, adapting to your existing two-hole or four-hole pattern. Available in a Center Ball or Offset Ball variation, mount your device up high and off to the side in a convenient viewing and operating angle.

 

Bolt Head Base

Connect a RAM^® Mount to any exposed bolt head on your bike using the RAM Bolt Head Base. Available in angled and flat, mount your camera, phone, drink or any other device to any available bolt head on your motorcycle. Simply remove the bolt, align the base, and reattach the bolt and you're all set!
