This mount is designed for use inside vehicles like cars, 4x4s, and SUVs. You can mount it on the windscreen, or on the dashboard using a Quad Lock® Adhesive Dash Pad (sold separately).
It works best on smooth, non-textured, non-porous surfaces, such as:
- Uncoated glass (like most windscreens)
- Plastics like PC or acrylic
- Smooth, painted or powder-coated metal
- Slightly curved surfaces (like most windscreens)
Surfaces it won’t work well on include:
- Textured or fabric dashboards
- Leather, unsealed wood, or soft-touch coatings
- Very curved surfaces (tight radius)
